Those who have narrow view of the world can easily become domesticated nationalists and then racists. Go out and travel the world and you'll know the world has more beautiful things to offer including racial and cultural diversities. Human being on earth evolves this way...endless forms and most beautiful.
While being a foreign-exchange student in a high school in Kansas City years ago I met an adult American who had never seen the sea, let alone another country. I later returned to America as a Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania with financial grant from the Harvard Yen-Ching Institute. I drove around the US every summer for five years pitching tents in various national parks, meeting and talking with many Americans along the way. In 2004 as a television news reporter from Thailand I again traveled across the US talking to ordinary Americans along the road from L.A. to New York. America is a wonderful country. Americans I met throughout my life are all nice and worldly educated. Racism in America today is something I never saw in Kansas City where I lived in 1966-67. Somkiat Onwimon 27 April 2019

Q: It is often said that individuals with a limited perspective can easily develop narrow-minded nationalist views, which can eventually lead to racism. However, by exploring and experiencing different cultures through travel, one can realize that the world has a wealth of beauty to offer, including diverse races and cultures. In this context, could you explain how exposure to global travel and cultural diversity can contribute to the evolution of human beings and the appreciation of the endless forms of beauty found on Earth?
